2. Data Collection
Chord Analyser does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. This includes but is not limited to:
- Name, email address, or any other identifying information
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
- Audio recordings made through the microphone (processed entirely on-device and never transmitted)
- Crash reports (not collected automatically)
All processing performed by the application - including real-time audio transcription and chord recognition - takes place exclusively on the user's device. No data is sent to external servers at any time.
3. Microphone Access
Chord Analyser requests access to the device microphone solely to enable the real-time audio transcription feature. This feature analyzes sound locally, on-device, in real time. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is accessed only when the user activates this feature.
Microphone access can be revoked at any time through your device's application settings, which will disable the audio transcription feature without affecting any other functionality of the application.
4. Device Permissions
The application does not require any sensitive device permissions beyond the optional microphone access described above. Chord Analyser does not access:
- Contacts, calendar, or messages
- Camera or photos
- Location services
- Network connectivity (no internet connection is required or used)
- Device storage beyond local application data
5. Advertising
Chord Analyser contains no advertising of any kind. No third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking libraries are included in the application.
6. In-App Purchases
Premium features are unlockable via a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely through the Google Play Store. Pragmatic Apps does not receive, store, or process any payment information. All purchase transactions are handled by Google in accordance with their own terms of service and privacy policy.
Purchases are automatically restored on all devices signed in to the same Google account, as managed by the Play Store. No account creation or registration is required within the application.
7. Children
Chord Analyser is rated for audiences aged 6 and above on the Google Play Store. The application does not knowingly collect any data from any user, including minors. Since no data is collected, no special provisions regarding children's data apply.
8. Third-Party Services
Chord Analyser does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or social media integrations. The application functions as a fully self-contained, offline application.
9. Data Security
As no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no data at risk of breach, unauthorized access, or misuse at the application level. All application data stored locally on the device is managed by the Android operating system and subject to its standard security protections.
10. Your Rights
Since Chord Analyser does not process any personal data, the rights afforded under applicable data protection regulations (including the GDPR) relating to personal data access, rectification, erasure, portability, or objection are not applicable in practice. No personal data exists to access, modify, or delete.
