Multiply is a game for children aged 7 to 10. Everything it records stays on the phone or tablet: there is no account, no server, no advertising and no analytics. Pragmatic Apps collects no personal data from children or from parents.
1. Data Controller
The application Multiply is developed and published by Pragmatic Apps, an independent software developer. Any privacy-related inquiry may be addressed to:
Email: pragmaticapps13@gmail.com
Website: www.pragmaticapps.net
2. Data Collected
Pragmatic Apps collects no data at all. The game sends nothing to us or to anyone else: no personal information, no usage statistics, no device identifier, no location.
To work, the game keeps the following information on the device only:
- Game progress - the scene reached in the adventure, the hero chosen, scores, records and badges.
- Learning statistics - which multiplications were answered right or wrong, and play time over the last seven days, shown to parents in the parents' area.
- Children's profiles - when several children share the device, the first name or nickname typed for each profile.
- Settings - language, sound, time allowed to answer, and whether the parents' edition has been purchased.
The language is chosen from the device settings, on the device itself. This information never leaves the device, and it is not included in the device's cloud backup.
3. What Multiply Does Not Do
- No account, no sign-in and no email address
- No advertising and no advertising identifier
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting tools
- No chat, no social features and no sharing between players
- No access to the camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location
4. In-App Purchase
The parents' edition is a single, optional one-time purchase, made through Google Play. Pragmatic Apps does not receive, store or process any payment data. Google handles the transaction under its own privacy policy; the game only asks Google Play whether the parents' edition has been purchased on the store account of the device, in order to unlock it and to restore it.
This is the only reason the game uses the network: the Google Play purchase service needs it to complete and check the purchase. The game itself sends nothing.
5. Children
Multiply is made for children aged 7 to 10 and follows the Google Play Families Policy. No personal information is collected, transmitted or shared, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and with the protection the GDPR gives to children.
The purchase and the only link to a website (the terms of use) are in the parents' area. The purchase screen is provided by Google Play, and we recommend turning on its purchase protection or family controls such as Google Family Link.
6. Deleting the Data
Since all the data is on the device, you remain in full control of it:
- in the parents' area, a child's profile can be deleted, or its adventure, scores and statistics reset;
- uninstalling the game erases all its data from the device.
Pragmatic Apps holds no copy, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability. As Multiply sends us no data, we hold none about you or your child. For any question, write to pragmaticapps13@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés): www.cnil.fr
8. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the game or in applicable regulations. If the game ever needed to collect data, this policy would be updated before that version is published. The current version is always accessible at:
